Welcome to the For the Love of Danes.
This website is dedicated to great Danes and those who love them. We are always striving for more information on the health of our Danes with feeding, behavior and their general well being.
Please take time to visit our various sections to this site as it is always being updated. We have our own forum which is private,you are more than welcome to join, all you have to do is go to the forum section and click the link at the bottom after you have review the rules. We have members from all over the world and we hold our regular competitions for our calendar for 2009. Its a very friendly family orientated forum you wont find any where more friendlier than this place. We produce our very own monthly newsletter and are always looking for ways to become more educated when it comes to our danes.
Don’t forget to look at our dog blogs. We have our very own bloggers. Leslie and Selena are all Dane owners and have very interesting things to say about Danes and dogs in general. Between the two of these lovely ladies they have over 20 years of experience. We are also super lucky to have Ron who is the director of the Animal Defense League in San Antonio, Texas, and Ron has always got something to say.
Our rescue section is always being updated with dogs looking for their forever home. Sometimes we will just put as much information as we have and link to the rescue that needs help.
Our meet up section has meet up dates and information for not only the San Antonio area but for other areas that our members are near. So if in doubt, come back and check it out, if you have a meet up that you would like to advertise please email us the details.
Bow wow bling and things will be having a variety of things like cell phone charms with paws and dog things on them, wine glass charms, decals and many other things, but all good things come to those who wait.
