Your dog is your responsibility. Paperwork must be accompanied with the dog(s) on the day or you can fax it on the below fax number showing that all shots are up to date, this is a must. Fax number is 866.286.5485 but please be sure to write “Dane Group” on the sheet so we can keep them in a separate file.
We are very lucky to have at our play date at the Pawderosa Ranch in Schertz that Cathy De La Garza will be giving us a demonstration on bloat. Cathy is an AKC Judge, AKC Delegate, Dane Breeder 38 years, owned Best In Show Dogs, President of the Great Dane Health Foundation bred and owned champions in 12 different breeds.
As all of you know bloat is so serious, sometimes people have lost their dogs because of this horrific thing.
So being prepared is the best action, this way if it does happen to you and your family we are going to supply you with some knowledge and some hand outs on how to best deal with bloat. Let’s face it our babies are part of the family and we aren’t going to let any of our family members get sick and stand by and do nothing.
If your dog can’t make it but you are still interested please do come, it’s a free seminar and this can only benefit you and your family.
Remember this too, its not just danes that suffer from bloat. There are other breeds for example German Shepherd, Standard Poodle, Rottweiler, Akita, Bloodhound, Great Pyrenees, Irish Setter, Old English Sheepdog, Boxer, Golden Retriever, Irish Wolfhound, St. Bernards, Labrador Retriever, Newfoundland, Doberman. Bring your chairs to get comfy and blankets for the dogs on the floor or what ever they want.
