THE MISSION STATEMENT OF THE SAN ANTONIO GREAT DANE RESCUE
To protect homeless, abandoned and mistreated Great Danes and other dog breeds within our volunteer care organization. To work with area animal shelters and humane societies in rescue efforts to help place adoptable animals into safe, loving, forever homes. In support of ethical breeders who maintain breed specific, National/International parent club standards for the betterment of the breed, to include all breed specific health and temperament testing. To educate people about spay/neuter and the need for sterilization of all pets, proper health care of a pet, nutritional requirements, socialization and training.

The rescue is always looking for people to help out, we need people who can pick up dogs for us, or foster a dane, some times we dont know how long you will have a dog for, but if you are interested in either volunteering or fostering please complete the form below so we can have your information.
